Description Up for sale is a seriously special mid-80s Gibson Les Paul Studio Standard — one of the earlier runs from this era, and a proper player’s piece with a ton of character.It still has the original pickups. They’re open, articulate, and incredibly dynamic — exactly what you want from a great Les Paul.The neck is a comfortable 60s / slim taper profile, making it fast and easy to play without feeling overly thin. It has been professionally refretted, which makes a huge difference — it plays cleanly up and down the neck and has plenty of life left in it for years to come.Finish-wise, this appears to be a Tobacco Burst, likely faded slightly over time — very typical for the era.
