For sale is this impeccable Fender AVRI American Vintage ’62 Precision Bass, made in the USA, finished in classic 3-Tone Sunburst with tortoiseshell pickguard and rosewood fingerboard.It's like a time capsule. All original and in perfect condition.A pristine example from Fender’s highly sought-after AVRI American Vintage series, built to early-’60s Precision Bass specifications with vintage-style reverse tuners, threaded-saddle bridge, vintage-style split-coil pickup and period-correct hardware.It plays beautifully and has everything you want from a classic Precision: deep, warm lows, plenty of punch and that unmistakable woody P-Bass character.Comes with its original Fender tweed hard case. The original bridge and pickup covers are not included.Located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.The bass has been dated to May 28, 1992 from the original Fender factory stamp on the neck heel. The neck pocket is correctly marked “62 P BASS” and retains its original factory inspection markings. Serial number V058904. Photos of the neck heel and pocket are included in the listing.
