This is the latest 2025-spec Modern Eagle V, and it's loaded with PRS's most advanced electronics to date. The five-coil pickup system features a pair of TCI-tuned humbuckers in the neck and bridge, and a custom NS-01 single coil in the middle. The 5-way blade switch gives you intuitive combinations (treble, treble + middle, middle, middle + bass, bass), while a push/pull tone control activates both humbuckers simultaneously for full three-pickup operation.

What really sets this model apart are the two mini-toggle EQ switches. These are tuned coil taps - not just standard splits - that use resistors to preserve output and tone. When engaged, they trim low-end and enhance clarity, giving you true single-coil sparkle with none of the usual thinness. It's a subtle but powerful tool that makes this one of the most versatile guitars PRS has ever built.

The build is classic PRS - mahogany body and one-piece mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, Pattern profile, Gen III tremolo, and Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons.
