If you're in the market for a hard to find Kramer, without breaking the bank, this is it! Why get a new boring guitar when you can get something with a little history behind it!

This circa 1999 Kramer FR400S Model is in very good shape for being 15 years old. Not many of these were made when Kramer started up again in the late 1990's. The FR400S is technically part of the Striker series, but when a single pickup is involved with a classic Kramer, it's commonly known a Baretta style. This axe features the slimmer, sleek, arch top style newer Striker body. The body is slim, almost like an Ibanez S Series. I haven't seen many of these out there these days. It is pure shred.

Frets have virtually zero wear. Guitar plays great up and down the entire neck with low, lighting fast action.

This guitar is loaded with a stock Quad Rail humbucker. It has a surprisingly warm, almost vintage tone. Very smooth and warm. Great for buttery leads. It has a coil tap push/pull knob so you can use 2 rails or 4. Some guys change out the Quad Rail pickups, but they have a unique sound that is very nice to my ears. I just kept this guitar 100% stock just in case a collector wants it that way.  Electronics have been tested and work flawlessly. No issues with scratchy pots, noises, etc.

Structurally, the guitar is solid as a rock. No headstock repairs etc.

There are of course, VERY MINOR finish blems here and there on this guitar, but nothing ugly. There are some little indentations around the bridge. here and there on the body, but nothing nasty. The guitar still looks great. It is after all, roughly 15 years old.

The guitar has its original Kramer logo Licensed Floyd Rose. It could use a set up. It has very light 9 gauge strings on it now, so there is not alot of tension on the Floyd springs. Again, a simple set up is all it needs.

This guitar sounds amazing, plays great, and looks beautiful.

Bottom line: If you're looking for a somewhat rare Kramer, without breaking the bank, this is it. This guitar is in great condition for its age. Grab it before somebody else does!
