The design of this guitar is inspired by the one painted and burned by
Jimi Hendrix during the
Monterey festival
in 1967. The original was red but this one is green. It has an inverted
neck in reference to the artist who played with his guitar upside down.
The guitar is equipped with
hand-wound Asyllum pickups made in France by Christophe Gaudin, expert in vintage pickups.
The pickups of the
Voodoo 60' set are very warm, dynamic and
articulate. They have the ability to produce vintage fingerprints
typical of the 60's strat and especially the L series with velvety clean
sounds and biting crunch. They are made of Plain Enamel 42 AWG wire and
have Alnico 2 magnets which due to their high magnetism allow you to
high magnetism will allow you to reach saturation levels and a a
devastating grain typical of the 70's and thus to make howl in this case
Fuzz pedals! If you like the legendary bands of those years, this set
is made for you!
The volume uses a
Treble Bleed system to preserve high frequency at lower volume. The tone uses a
CTS no-load
potentiometer such as installed on Fender American series electric
guitars, this 250K no-load potentiometer functions as a normal tone
control from 1 to 9. At 10, the tone control is removed from the circuit
for increased output and overall tonal response.
