Here's a GREAT Besson fully compensating euphonium. For my money, no one makes a euphonium that more typifies the British euphonium sound than Besson. This big, dark, woody sound that these horns make really fills up a room. This is a great example of a Besson Imperial with extremely rare FRONT ACTION. These instruments are terrific horns and very much like the current Besson Sovereign model 968. They play great, in tune, and with a full voice.
This particular horn is in very good condition but shows some cosmetic wear. Lacquer shows some dings and wear from honest use. Valves are excellent, and this horn plays great. Why spend $8000 on a new Besson when you can have a great playing horn for a fraction of the cost?
