Vintage Czech-made Jolana Diamant bass. Stock Spektrum pickups are aggressive and awesome sounding. Can go from round and tubby to gritty and honky.
Currently strung with light (.40-90) rounds; bass plays GREAT, strings have that short-scale "sponge" to 'em -- low tension but very responsive.
Appears to be all-original with the possible exception of the strap buttons. They don't match, so I expect that means at least one of 'em is a replacement.
In-person pickup (with safety precautions!) in the Bay Area is welcome!
