This Yamaha 01V is sold as spares or repairs. The outputs are faulty and playback is intermittent, so normal operation is not possible. It has not passed our functional test and no functions are warranted as working. The fault has not been diagnosed, and we cannot advise whether it lies with the output stages, the internal connectors and ribbon cables, the power supply, the DSP section or elsewhere, nor whether the unit is economically repairable.What's Included

About This Model
The Yamaha 01V is a programmable digital mixing console that brought the technology of Yamaha's flagship 02R within reach of project studios, broadcast facilities and small-scale live sound work. It provides 24 input channels in total - 12 mono channels, two stereo channels and eight further digital inputs via an optional Option I/O card - feeding six mix buses and six aux sends, with 14 outputs comprising the stereo out, four configurable analogue Omni outs and eight assignable digital outputs. Channels 1 to 12 offer balanced XLR and balanced jack inputs with +48V phantom power and a 26dB pad, with continuously variable gain controls throughout. Processing includes four-band parametric EQ, the equivalent of 22 onboard dynamics processors covering compression, gating, ducking, expansion and companding, and two stereo multi-effects processors, all backed by extensive libraries of preset and user programs. Ninety-nine scene memories store complete mix snapshots, recalled via 100mm motorised faders, and the Option I/O slot accepts ADAT, TASCAM or AES/EBU interface cards for direct connection to eight-track digital multitrack recorders. Two consoles can be linked for 48 input channels, and the unit is rack-mountable. Dynamic range is quoted at 105dB.
