Item: MAY18HD350511One of Martin's best kept secrets, the HD-35 Dreadnought features a visually striking three-piece back accentuated with dual HD Zig-Zag back stripe purfling, an antique white bound fingerboard and a bold herringbone top trim inlay. Martin's HD models are built with scalloped Sitka spruce bracing, which allows the richness of the East Indian rosewood back and sides and Sitka spruce top to ring out fully, producing a substantial bass response balanced with articulate highs. The HD-35 Dreadnought recently received a revamp which included the addition of an aging toner top, a 1 ¾” bone nut and a modified low oval neck with narrow taper for ultimate playability - an excellent choice for recording and live bluegrass and folk music performances.
