About this guitar:
For sale is a 1986 Ibanez Axstar AX70, an exceptionally rare set-neck model (not to be confused with the more common bolt-on neck version). Ibanez catalog specifications refers this model as being bolt on neck, I have seen only another one with set neck online in the last 10 years! Also this guitar features a factory finish that does not appear in any official Ibanez catalog, making it a truly unique find.
The guitar is all original and in very good condition, showing expected signs of use. The most notable markings are documented in the photos (please review all images). It plays exceptionally well, having undergone a complete fret leveling and dressing, as well as a professional setup.
As with all our guitars, it has been thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and professionally set up for optimal performance.
