About this guitar: 

The guitar is in very good condition with some nice natural relic very typical of these Highway One series guitars due to their very thin laquer finishes. Neck is straight, truss rod works as it should, frets show some use but are in good condition and it plays great. The guitar was upgraded with a Fender Custom Shop Pickup set paper in oil cap (see photos). This is from the first run with the 60's style headstock featuring a Alder body and a very thin satin lacquer finish allows the wood to "breathe" better, providing a warm, full tone with added sustain and clarity. In recent years, people have come to appreciate just how exceptional and well-crafted these guitars are, earning them a cult status among musicians. They are now favored by top players like Chris Buck, who uses one as his main Strat, and Cory Wong who uses two of them as his main strats to create masterpieces like Lilypad, Both these player's guitars are first edition 60's headstock with rosewood fretboard just like this one.

In alternative, since the guitar is a bolt on neck it can be shipped without the neck attached to minimize risks of damaging the neck in transit and fewer shipping costs.  If you know how to reassemble a guitar neck this is the safest way to ship a guitar. Also, depending on availability shipping with a hardcase is also an option, we have several used and some new hardcases in stock that we can provide at an additional cost.
