A Truly rare and classic guitar amplifier 1965 Burns Orbit Two Amplifier Made by Jim Burns. James O. Burns is often referred to as England’s Leo Fender, and while he was primarily known more for his guitars, he was also very instrumental in the development of English amplifiers, as he competed to set the standard with British amplifier companies – especially VOX.  It was about 1964 when Jim Burns introduced the very first solid state amplifier - The Burns Orbit! It was considerably more expensive than a Vox AC30, and was reliable and much lighter in weight. Furthermore the sound was awesome. Numerous users at the time including Eric Clapton as seen in the photo using the 3 speaker amp version .
