Overview:
This is an oddity and a very rare guitar from the 60's, it's a Guyatone made by Yamaha (Nippon Gakki) in the 60's hence sharing the same body shape as the the Yamaha SA 30T model created in 1966 and actually shares some hardware but the big difference here is, of course the bolt on neck. The pickups are based on a P-90 that look like a Mosrite single coil and are great sounding pickups. The Bigsby slyle tremolo has a ball bearing design and works great and stays in tune pretty well. The neck is thin and very comfortable to play. Even though the model name is SG 25T these have "Julien" embossed in the pickguard.

About this guitar:
The guitar is in great all original condition (except for the new frets) but has the expected usage markings for a 57 year old guitar, of course it is impossible to document every little scratch or imperfection on a vintage guitar like this but all major flaws are documented in the photos, so please make sure you see them all. There is also the normal scratches on the back of the guitar but these are hard to photograph. The neck and fingerboard are in great condition, the guitar was recently refreted with jumbo frets so the frets show no wear, so it plays better than ever... originally they come with the very thin and low frets so typical of the MIJ sixties guitars...
Like all JustGearGas.eu guitars it has been cleaned, polished, fully checked and set up, ready to rock and it sounds great! Of course although I think the set up is fine,with low action, everyone has their own preferences, just like with any guitar, if your not happy with the way it is set up, it will be your responsibility to have it set up to your liking.
