This is our original world famous NS-2 featuring our curved body design from 1977! It possesses all of the well known NS-2 growl tones that you know & love!
This particular bass has the classic NS-2 tones from the maple top plus a little
more midrange presence thanks to the Helium® reclaimed redwood back.
Additionally this bass has our newer internal chambers which helps to reduce
its overall weight by approx 1/2 lb.

-hand signed & numbered on the back of the peghead by Stuart Spector.
-featuring our original world famous curved body design, since 1977.
-body wings : quilted maple over our Helium® reclaimed redwood.
-body wings : chambered (weight relieving internal chambers)
-our thin neck specs
-black cherry color
-high gloss finish
-neck :
3pc quarter sawn NY state maple with graphite rods for additional strength
-fingerboard : pau ferro with our white mother of pearl Crown Inlays®,
24 frets, 16" radius for low action & playability.
-pickups : EMG active P/J "X"
-active tone controls : Spector/HAZ 9v
-hardware : gold, including
Spector locking bridge & Dunlop Dual Design strap locks
-brass nut
-width at nut : 1.64", string spacing at bridge : .75", 34" scale
