Despite a complicated history, Burns Guitars has consistently made unique, excellent instruments since the early '60s -- in fact, it was the most successful guitar company in England during that time. Burns guitars were seen in the hands of many high-profile players of the day, like Elvis Presley, Jimmy Page, Hank Marvin, and more. Not a company to play it safe, Burns branched out into amplifiers and accessories, like their Tri-Sonic Pickups. The company was purchased by Baldwin in the mid-'60s and the name has been used by various other manufacturers in the years since.
