About this listing
Warm Audio Foxy Tone Box, a hyper-accurate, boutique-grade recreation of the legendary early 1970s Foxx Tone Machine. True to the iconic vintage design, this pedal is entirely covered in its distinctive thick orange velvet fabric, bringing authentic retro aesthetics and massive, room-shaking fuzz tones directly to your pedalboard without the unobtainable vintage price tag. Each unit is meticulously hand-assembled using premium, period-correct components. Warm Audioengineered the circuit around a stash of genuine New Old Stock (NOS) Fairchild germanium transistors, pairing them with premium germanium diodes, high-watt carbon resistors, and film capacitors. The result is a highly responsive, thick, and organic analog fuzz that reacts beautifully to your guitar's volume knob and picking dynamics. The control layout allows you to transition smoothly from classic classic rock crunch to wild, compressed, and searing lead tones:Volume: Sets the overall output level of the pedal, with plenty of volume on tap to push the front end of your amplifier.Sustain: Controls the duration of the fuzz sustain and the overall level of saturation.Fuzz (Mellow to Brite): A highly interactive tone control that sweeps from dark, warm, square-wave distortion to sharp, cutting, and aggressive fuzz textures.Octave Toggle Switch: Engages a pronounced, piercing octave-up effect. When flipped on, it delivers that legendary vintage Hendrix-style vibe, producing beefy, polyphonic tracking that cuts perfectly through any mix, especially when using your neck pickup above the 12th fret. The pedal operates with ultra-low self-noise compared to traditional vintage drive boxes and features true bypass switching to ensure absolute signal integrity when disengaged. It is in great overall cosmetic and working condition, ready to bring classic seventies fury to your guitar, bass, or synthesizer setup.Specs:Hyper-accurate recreation of the 1971 Foxx Tone Machine circuitHand-assembled with NOS Fairchild germanium transistors and germanium diodesDistinctive orange velvet covered enclosureSwitchable independent octave-up effectTrue bypass switching to guarantee total signal integrityPowered by a standard 9V battery or a standard 9V DC adapter (center negative)Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need additional pictures!Check out my other listings—I have 50 selected effect pedals and pieces of gear for sale.
