This option doesn’t cover customers abroad EU.The Genelec 8040B is a bi-amplified nearfield studio monitor featuring a 6.5-inch woofer and a 3/4-inch metal dome tweeter powered by separate 90 W Class AB amplifiers. This model was designed before the integration of SAM technology, making it a stable analog solution with classic Genelec tuning. Its rear reflex port design extends low-end response down to 48 Hz, and it reaches up to 20 kHz without DSP coloration.The die-cast aluminum cabinet incorporates the Directivity Control Waveguide to support precise off-axis behavior and reliable stereo imaging. Rear DIP switches provide options for bass tilt, treble tilt, and desktop notch compensation, making it adaptable to different room conditions.
