About this listing
For sale is a pair of legendary Chandler Limited Germanium Compressors in excellent condition and perfect working order. These units need little introduction. The Germanium Compressor has become a modern studio classic thanks to its unique ability to move effortlessly between transparent control, rich harmonic coloration and aggressive character compression. Whether on drums, vocals, bass, synths, mix bus or mastering duties, they simply make things sound bigger, deeper and more musical. What makes this pair particularly special is the possibility of running them in stereo link mode, creating an incredibly flexible and characterful stereo bus compressor with a sound that sits somewhere between vintage FET attitude and smooth Class-A warmth. The Germanium Drive, Feedback and Comp Curve controls offer an enormous tonal palette that few compressors can match. (musicstore.com)The compressors have been used lightly in a professional, smoke-free studio environment and have always been treated with great care. They are fully functional and operate exactly as they should.I am only selling them because my studio is now focused almost exclusively on electronic music production, where these beautiful units simply don’t get the use they deserve.Included:2x Chandler Limited Germanium CompressorsOriginal Chandler power supplyPower cablesCosmetic condition: ExcellentTechnical condition: Perfect working orderA rare opportunity to acquire a stereo pair of one of the most musical and distinctive compressors ever made.Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like additional photos or videos demonstrating their operation.
