1955 Gretsch Duo Jet – 100% Original
This guitar has a fantastic sound, something truly extraordinary. It’s full, noble, fat, and yet light at the same time.
I bought it from a musician in San Francisco, who had previously purchased it from Chicago Music Exchange. At some point, a Bigsby bridge had been installed, but as you can see in the photos, it was restored to its original bridge by a luthier.
The guitar is very light, with low string action, a great solid neck, Melita bridge, and VERY little fret wear. The body (Nitron top) is in excellent condition with only minimal scratches for its age. The DeArmond pickups deliver that signature Gretsch tone.
Comes with the original casewith some wear on the outside, but the interior is fine and fully usable.
Ships fully insured to EU. Transport conditions outside the EU to be agreed.
