Ludwig 20"x14" Keystone Bass Drum 1965/66 – Champagne Sparkle – Restored
Beautifully restored vintage Ludwig Club Date 20”x14” bass drum from 1965/66, finished in the original Champagne Sparkle wrap.
The drum is in excellent condition for its age and was professionally restored by Massimo Pellegrini (Battere e Levare, Italy).
Restoration details:
• Interior repainted in Ludwig-style white
• Both hoops refinished in black with inlay preserved
• Both wooden hoops have had a very small section of inlay replaced using Bermuda Sand wrap, on the bottom side where it remains hidden once mounted. The repair is clean and visually discreet.
• All hardware cleaned and functional
• Heads: Remo Emperor Coated (batter), Remo Fiberskyn (resonant)
Note: The tom mount is missing (as shown).
Original badge, claws, rods and lugs all intact.
This drum sounds fantastic and is ready to play or collect.
