This flute was crafted after Florentin Barbier’s Grand Prix in 1878 and before it associated with Cousin in 1885 It has inline G open holes and soldered chimneys, pointed arms, a C foot and the distinctive tear-drop Eb key of early French flutes. Traditional scale (A = 440 Hz). The flute has been fully overhauled and is re-padded by Daniel Paul, the best mastersmith in France. The structural state of the flute is superb, with no cracks, dents or bumps. It is in super cosmetic condition. This flute is easy blowing with a superb rich, warm, clear and lively sound full that characterizes the poetry of early golden ear French flutes. Mechanical ergonomics are absolutely transparent and effortless. The flute comes in a protective wood case.
