A nice mid 19th century full size italian violin for professional musician or collector. The label says: LORENZO VENTAPANE FABBRICANTE DI STRUMENTI DA CORDE Abita Calata Borgo di Loreto N°. 23. This violin is in an excellent used condition, beautiful model with a very elegant natural amber patina, very high quality of woods, perfect details all over.
The narrow flamed two pieces maple back measures 35,8 cm. The total length of the violin is 59,5 cm. There are no cracks or repairs.
This tonally extremely interesting instrument is now ready to play, and i recommend it highly for its powerful, warm and sweet sound full of typically Italian character.
