Hensel minerva Parlour Guitar. Vintage 1930s Pre-war. Restored.. Condition is "Seller refurbished".
Arthur Hensel was one of the premium Canadian luthiers from the Toronto area in the decades before WWII, and their guitars have really seen a resurgence in desirability. There aren’t that many left available, and fewer still that are in excellent playing condition.
This Hensel Minerva dates from the 1930s and has been fully restored to excellent playing condition. It is 12 fret parlour size guitar.
Neck reset done, new “StewMac Golden Age” tuners, hand rubbed natural shellac “French Polish” finish, original tortoise shell pick guard. Strung up with high quality Elixir Nano Web Coated 11-52 strings.

You can see a video and hear it played on my YouTube link... Keep in mind it’s just a simple smart phone video, and it does sound much better live.
Nothing sounds like 90 year old Adirondack spruce, coupled with vintage minimalistic X-bracing . This guitar is remarkably loud, with excellent bass, treble and mids. It is a finger-pickers dream and is best suited for that vintage blues sound - think Robert Johnson style blues and this is the guitar you want.
Guitar is sold as-is, final sale, so please ask all your questions before purchasing. I will respond within 24 hours to any inquiries, and will provide any information you need to feel comfortable. I recommend checking out the restoration link and you tube video link above. They should give you far more information than 99% of the ads you’re used to reading.
