Offered here is a stereo tube mic preamplifier by a very well respected Swiss manufacturer of professional consoles and mixers (both analog and digital) STUDER, model D19.

This unit is in excellent operational condition and sounds World-class. There are some very nice articles about the usability of this unit, which features fully balanced analog I/O on separate XLRs for line inputs and mic inputs, with side-chain capabilities (for additional compressor or EQ added), and A/D conversion at both 20bit and 16bit with noise shaping and dither (excellent option for bringing your analog tape mixes to CD 44.1kHz/16bit resolution format still required for producing CDs and MP3s).

The sweetening section uses the tubes odd harmonics to provide additional warmth to the bass and/or treble frequencies. Some pro engineers use this feature alone when mixing passively and using this unit for a make-up gain with passive mixing setups. We found this feature to be outstanding when used moderately.
