Cosmetically the unit is in very good condition. See the photos. Many Roland R-8 units show significant cosmetic wear after decades of use, including heavy scratches, scuffs, and other signs of studio or live use. This unit has been barely used with only very minor signs of age. Please refer to the photos for details. The unit hasn't been recently serviced but passes all the internal diagnostic tests.

The screen is clear and easily readable. On many Roland R-8 units, the LCD display has become noticeably dim with age making it difficult to read. As shown in the photos the display on this unit is bright and clear.

Comes with the original Roland ACH-120 power adapter. Many Roland R-8 units are sold without the original power supply or include aftermarket replacements. Finding an original Roland adapter like this is becoming increasingly uncommon, making this a complete and ready-to-use package. This is the 120V version so if you're in Europe you'll need a step-down transformer (220V to 120V) to use it. I have one available. If you don't have one already and like it included I can include it for free.

Comes with an original R-8 MKII manual (however the manual is for the R-8 MKII but it's almost identical to the original R-8 manual).
