This is a 1981 Tokai SS70 Limited Edition model Strat. This rare Tokai, only produced in small numbers from 1980-82, borrows the features and looks of Fender’s Dan Smith-inspired “The Strat,” featuring a Light Blue finish with matching headstock, gold-plated brass hardware, and a trio of U-stamped gray bobbin single coil pickups. Frankly, however - this plays and sounds better than any "The Strat" we've had. Tokai kinda nailed it.
It has a soft V neck with a 7.25" radius, and a really nice rosewood board. It is in great shape with nicks, dings, and patina. It is missing its back plate and tremolo arm, but comes with its (impressively nice) original hardshell case. It weighs 8 lbs, 10 oz.
It has been professionally setup and is ready to rock!
