This iconic snare drum from Ludwig is a well-known workhorse that delivers just as well in the studio as it does live. With 6 ply maple shell and 8 inch depth, the drum has lots of warmth and low-end, while the thick 12 hole hoops ensure powerful rimshots.

The drum has 12 double Bowtie Lugs, Keystone Badge with serial number #3117032, new P88 snare mechanism which is a major upgrade from the original P85, internal muffler and locking nuts on tuning rods.

The drum has been dismantled, cleaned and lubricated.

New drum heads, snare wire and snare mechanism have been fitted.

Very attractive snare drum from Ludwig in particularly good used/collector condition.

The drum previously had an unoriginal snare mechanism and there is therefore an extra hole under the current mechanism, and two extra holes under the original butt-end.
