King Super 20 Silver Sonic Tenor Sax - Underslung neck - Series V
These models have a bright, focused powerful jazzy sound.
This horn has a lacquered brass body with sterling silver neck featuring an under-slung octave key. The bell section is also solid silver and has gold leaf ‘inlay’ in the engraving and gold wash inside the bell. The overall condition of this horn is very good with limited lacquer wear and scratching. Included in the price is an unoriginal hard shell case.
The underslung mechanism on the neck was discontinued pretty soon after the production was moved to Eastlake, so it's one of these early models made in Eastlake still with the underslung neck before that was discontinued.
This particular sax has seamless flat metal resonators on as good as new pads.
