The set has undergone a full service with disassembly, cleaning, polishing and lubrication of all parts.

New Remo heads on all drums.
Remo Pinstripe Clear / Remo Diplomat Clear on RT & FT
Remo CS White Dot / Remo Emperor Clear on bass drum.
The front head has a 5.5" hole with reinforcement ring and Pearl logo.

Pearl CZX Custom, also called Custom Z, are high end drums from the early 90s (1989 – 1994). The drums are in the Champagne Birdseye finish, a finish that is exclusive and only available on this series. Finest quality 100% Maple, 10 ply - 8mm toms and 10 ply - 12.5mm floor tom and bass drum.

Designed and built at Pearl's factory in Japan, the Custom Z represented the absolute finest Pearl was delivering at the time.

The drums have Pearl's powerful Super Hoops, brass lug nuts, uni-lock tom arms with memory locks and SP30 bass drum legs with adjustable rubber/spikes. Everything is original and appears in very good condition.

From signs of use, there are some minor notch in the clear lacquer, the bass drum hoops have some signs of use from the claws, and the lugs have some traces of pitting in the chrome.

Very well kept set that has retained all original parts and appears in restored collector's condition.
