Vintage Kramer LK-1BF made in Japan by ESP for the Japanese domestic market. Modified with Killswitch.
Not to be confused with the more common Focus or JK series.
The previous owner, who works at Vigilant Guitars in Canada, made some impressive modifications that make this guitar completely unique. (I included a video of the previous owner shredding on this guitar, because he is 100x better player than I am haha)
It has been wired “Lynch style,” so you simply pull up on the volume pot to change pickups. The mini toggle has been wired as a kill switch for stutter effects.
The original tremolo was a licensed Floyd which has been swapped for a German-made Floyd Rose Original. Neck pickup has been upgraded to a Dimarzio Injector. The bridge pickup is still original. Original neck pickup and original toggle switch are included in the sale.
All of the pots and switches were replaced with American made components.
Condition is listed as Very Good, electronics function as they should, but it is almost 40 years old and has dings, a few scratches, and impressions. I tried to photograph everything, but none of these impact playability.
Does not come with a case, but will be packed with extra bubblewrap and shipped securely.
