Early 2000 ESP Custom Shop one of a kind Star Guitar Made in Hollywood USA. 

This guitar is a serious culmination of all the hi end essential characteristics that can possibly be built into any professional level of guitar. After this it's all body shape paint smoke and mirrors.

And the old ESP Hollywood Custom Shop would have been the ones to have accomplished this task. In the late 1990's ESP had a custom shop in Hollywood CA that made Legendary USA Custom Shop guitars. These early custom shop guitars were crafted there up until around 2001 "Only for Artists and Special Clients".  The Hollywood USA made Custom Shop Guitars used nothing but top quality components and materials. Not so much unlike the modern Ibanez LACS of today who does much the same thing as ESP did. I happen to have one these Rare LACS Guitars as well for sale at the Music Zoo take a look at the ZUMA #20.

To deviate for a minute ... not everyone is clear on this ... All subsequent years of Custom Shop models are made in Japan and ordered in the USA. Although you continue to see adds read on newer ESP models since this time period USA Custom Shop "That's incorrect".  They are Japan Custom Shop made JCS not to discredit at all just to get the story correct. Even reputable dealers around the world get away with making this statement to embolden their product. I wanted to bring that to attention in case you see one of these misleading adds.

Back to Business ... USA homegrown masterclass craftsmen like John Gaudesi who worked at ESP during this USA Hollywood Custom Shop period were part of the fabulous crew that made these impeccable guitars. The Hollywood Custom shop guitars are known and can be recognized by the brilliant paint, flamed maple tops, and custom ESP block inlays at the 12th fret. 

The tone and sustain from this reverse headstock 24 fret neck through is nothing short of amazing. Harmonics ring exceptionally easily. Unsurpassed ultimate comfortable playing access to the upper neck registry that can't be beat. Take a look at where the neck meets the body bottom of the 21st. fret other guitars necks including V's and Explorer bodies don't quite reach that far down the pipe before they connect to the body. The 24 fret birds eye maple neck and fret board is really next to the grail level of necks. Guaranteed to put you over the Top from the Neck comfort and playability alone!

The Artist or Special Client this was made for remains unknown. ESP does not even know who this was built for or won't admit it.

Overall cosmetic condition is very good and not abused for 23 years old. This has a few body nicks and chinks at common prone areas and a few swirls.  No major or objectionable cosmetic issues that would be jump out noticeable by someone watching you perform. Above all the neck is incredible and the Electronics are best of the best which is the essence of any guitar. The headstock, back of neck, fret board and sides of board are all in great shape as well as the SS Frets.
