This version of the Rupert is point to point wired by hand, using 1950's style Fish Paper circuit boards.

The "Rupert" Bass Overdrive Preamp is like a Nigel for the Bass, providing a rich sounding tube-like bass sound. It makes a bass amp sound creamier, and is a very good preamp for direct recording. Output 2 provides an "always-on" FET preamp for recording, and Output 1 is the Rupert effect with True Bypass.
