Gibson Custom 1936 J-35 Reissue – Vintage SunburstGibson Custom 1936 J-35 Reissue in Vintage Sunburst, offered in excellent near-mint condition as part of The Live Sound’s #megliodelnuovo selection.Inspired by the understated 1936 J-35, this Custom Historic reissue combines a thermally aged spruce top with mahogany back and sides. Its traditional construction includes hand-scalloped Advanced X-bracing, red spruce braces applied with hide glue, and a compound dovetail neck joint.The thin VOS nitrocellulose finish gives the guitar an appropriately aged appearance. Any light patina associated with the VOS treatment is intentional and factory-applied rather than accidental wear.The mahogany neck features Gibson’s Historic profile, a 24.75-inch scale, a 12-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard and a 1.77-inch bone nut.
