This Fender 1964 Pro AA763 Blackpanel Pre-CBS amplifier in black is in near mint, 100% original condition. I brought the amp up slowly on a Variac and was pleased to hear the result - big, bold tone without hum or noise. I've pictured it in its original state. I recommend a cap job and grounded power cable install, something I can do for an additional $200 prior to shipping. This is the perfect example of one of the most rare Fender amps - a sneaky one that most people have never seen. The Pro was made with a 15" speaker for years as a tweed, then brown amp. The blackpanel version of the Pro was short lived, then it was replaced by the much larger Pro Reverb.The Pro AA763 is a 40-watt, single-channel blackpanel circuit running two 6L6 power tubes and a 5AR4 rectifier, with a Jensen C15N 15" speaker (manufacturer code 220, date code 403, cone code 3015B10-H1). The preamp complement is a 12AT7 and three 12AX7s. Onboard vibrato is included. The cabinet is pine, covered in original black tolex, with a silver sparkle grille.Everything here is original — tolex, cabinet, grille, baffle, chassis, knobs, handle, speaker, power transformer, choke transformer, output transformer, potentiometers, filter caps, and power cable are all unaltered. Tested, US made vintage tubes are included. The power cable is the original ungrounded two-prong. There are no repairs of any kind to the cabinet, chassis, or baffle. This amplifier shows no signs of play wear. There is one miniscule change, the addition of two connectors to the end of the stock speaker cable, which could be removed with no effect on the originality of the amp.No cover is included.
