Fuzz lovers rejoice: Keeley has just unveiled a brand-new pedal called the Moon Op Amp Fuzz. While this is a new offering from Keeley, fans of the David Gilmour-inspired Dark Side Workstation might already have some familiarity with its monstrous, high-gain circuit.
As Andy explains in the demo, this pedal features a huge filter section, with a range that allows players to dial in everything from sweet, singing sustain to degraded '60s garage tones and everything in between. Players can also choose their desired sound profile from three selectable voicings: flat, full (for extra mids), and classic scooped.

The Moon Fuzz's natural compression helps it stack nicely with other effects like modulation and delay, and its expansive filter section is a great tool when pairing this pedal with other fuzz and distortion effects. Be sure to check out the video above to see Andy put the Moon Op Amp Fuzz through the paces with both single-coils and humbuckers.
This first run of the Keeley Moon Op Amp Fuzz is being sold exclusively by The Guitar Store. If you can't make it out Washington yourself, you can get your pedal here through The Guitar Store's exclusive Reverb shop.
