Up for sale is a TEAC TASCAM 246 Portastudio 4-track cassette multitrack recorder, serviced and tested for proper operation.

Recording and playback demonstration videos can be provided individually before shipment upon request. I understand that vintage cassette multitrack recorders are delicate equipment, so I try to provide as much transparency as possible to buyers.

This unit has been carefully inspected, cleaned, serviced, and function-tested. Recording, playback, transport controls, meters, and input/output functions have been confirmed working properly.

The TASCAM 246 is widely regarded as the higher-end successor to the famous TASCAM 244. It offers 6-channel mixing capability, dbx noise reduction, and a more refined design compared to many cassette multitrack recorders from the same era.

This unit is a Japanese domestic model designed for AC 100V operation.

If your country uses a different mains voltage, we kindly recommend preparing a proper step-down transformer to 100V before the item arrives, so that we can provide you smoothe customer support.
