This listing is for a pair serviced&modded vintage RFT RFZ (the GermaNeve) PR812/2 modules! Stellar building quality, have a look at the pics. Transformer balanced, fully discrete, with huge vintage sound. Same transformer and amplifier card as the famous MV810.

Plug & Play with XLR Ins/Outs, PSU (100V-240V) serviced and modded to a very nice mid-gain mic/line-preamps (Gain-Range from -10dB up tp +32dB)

Not selling them "as is" like many others do... If you don`t like them, return them! No risk!

For sure, with some signs of wear! Round about 50 years old..., but in overall good condition.

- Fully tranformer balanced and fully discrete cirduits (no ICs anywhere)

- same sound as the legendary MV810 preamp just with less gain (up to 32dB)

- original PAD-switch on the front (the orange one)

The amount of Gain 32dB is enough to record vocals with condensers, as well as louder sources like drums, percussion or guitar-amps with dynamic microphones. If the Gain is enough for your purposes, you won`t find nicer and cheaper vintage preamps than these two guys!

Very nice transformer-saturation when driven hot. These are defenitly Top-Notch preamps which can compete with everything!
