The AUTO Series is a fusion of classic pedal design with the extraordinary world of modular synthesis. Each pedal has two sources of modulation that you control with your playing. The DYNAMICS follows the volume nuances of your playing. It captures the character of your attack style and the loudness and decay of your instrument. The PITCH tracker, on the other hand, detects note cues, bends and vibratos. You have the power to send these modulations to one of four effect knobs and set the parameters in motion.

Adjust the modulation with the DYNAMICS and PITCH knobs, along with dedicated mode switches. Set the decay time of DYNAMICS, introduce a sliding pitch with PITCH tracking, and adjust the response curves to fit your playing style and desired effect. Each main effect knob is paired with a corresponding smaller modulation amount knob, also known as an attenuator. This allows you to precisely adjust the modulation amount and direction for each effect knob independently. Imagine the dynamic possibilities - a hard hit on a guitar can turn one knob significantly clockwise, while it pushes another knob only slightly in the opposite direction. Explore the subtleties, from gentle parameter changes to elaborate, full parameter transformations.

FUNCTIONS OF AUTO CHORUS

  • 3 algorithms: CHORUS, ENSEMBLE and FLANGE
  • 4 streamlined controls: LEVEL, DEPTH, RATE, FEEDBACK
  • 3 shapes: SAGITTING, SINUS, SLOPE

EXAMPLES OF AUTO CHORUS

Delayed vibrato

Add slowly increasing vibrato to sustained notes and chords. Set the pedal to CHORUS mode and listen only to the WET sound for a VIBRATO effect. Route the DYNAMICS to the DEPTH knob and set it to the maximum desired vibrato depth position. Increase the DEPTH MODULATION AMOUNT counterclockwise to reduce the VIBRATO DEPTH at the beginning of each note.

Resonating chorus

Inject a metallic CHORUS resonance into your sound by turning up the FEEDBACK. While this may sound attractive at first, it's an effect you may not want to have on constantly. Route the DYNAMICS to the FEEDBACK knob, set it to the minimum value and add a little MODULATIEDEPTH in the positive range - just a little bit to color the hits.

Accelerating jet engine

FLANGER is known for its effect reminiscent of jet engine sounds. Route the PITCH to both DEPTH and RATE to animate the FLANGER effect as you move up the neck, by making it faster and more intense
