Ditto X4 is a looper pedal designed specifically for the guitarist. However, no one forbade using it with any other musical instrument.

Ditto X4 has two independent, but synchronized loop tracks, which are recorded and turned on separately (don't confuse tracks with overdubs, the latter ones here, though I'm ripping them off). At the same time, the tracks can play simultaneously, or they can flow into each other without changing the tempo or shifting strong parts (the Serial / Sync switch is responsible for this). That is, now no one will prevent you from recording 4 bars of a percussion part and 80 bars of a guitar part on top of it. Or record the verse and chorus separately, and then switch them back and forth (which is especially useful for solo performances).
