For sale a very rare tape recording machine from the Netherlands.

Build by Philips somewhere between 1958-1965.

A very great engineered machine with "modern" specifications as:

Regulated tape tension, electronic brakes & standby tension, variable wind speed, end of tape switch, ferrite heads, nab/iec eq curve switch for rec and plyback and 19" recording & playback modules with build in drawers.
Very easy accessible and serviceable.

All parts in the transport are also easy accessible and removable.
Handy pushbuttons to check all tubes, filament and record & erase current for easy troubleshooting.

Each record module consist of 6 tubes (2x E80F, E80L, E80CC, E88CC, E80L)

Each playback module consists of 5 tubes (2x E80F, 3x E80CC).

All tubes are from Philips and are SQ (special quality) long life tubes with gold pins.

That makes a total of 22 tubes.

Recording and playback volume is variable with a rotary switch accessible with a screwdriver.

The machine is build with the same (or even better) quality as the Studer C37 and has the same specifications.

I have all the documentations digital (manual and schematics) and will transfer it to the buyer.

The machine is serviced, aligned and checked. All the old and bad capacitors are replaced (electrolyte and film). The film caps were only replaced if they were leaky or bad after testing.

All electrolytes were replaced with new F+T caps, made in Germany.

Shipping is possible, but only if buyer arranges the pickup. I will crate the machine and make sure it will travels very safe.

Please contact me for any question.
