When compressors, EQs, preamps or converters are giving their all, it can get quite hot in 19" racks. Especially with larger rack installations, the order of the day is to ensure sufficient air circulation so that the devices do not overheat. The Avalon VP-1 rack panel helps here, as it is equipped with ventilation slots.
