Here we have a classic Studer C37
stereo recorder up for sale.
Made in the 1960's in Switzerland.
The best 1/4" 2 track machine ever built!
Abbey Road had these in the mastering rooms, and it uses the same Rec and playback amps as the legendary Studer J37.
I looked thru the machine and it's in great condition.
No burnt resistors or leaky caps.
All buttons and lights work as they should incl. scissors and counter.
Capstan motor has been oiled and runs nice and quiet.
1565 hours on the clock.
Brand new NOS butterfly rec and playback heads.
Extra brand new pinchroller.
Extra Bayonette based regulator lamp.
Comes with takeup reel/pancake hub and
2 kinds of reel adaptors, and aluminium NAB hubs.
Copy of full service manual.
Included is a stand with front and sidepanels.
