For your consideration: a very desirable and highly collectible 1962 Wandre Rockbass. This one doesn't come around often. This beautiful electric bass guitar is in original and very good shape. Some minor restoration was done in close collaboration with Marco Ballestri, the world renowned Wandre specialist and author of the book about Wandre. Antonio Vandrè (aka Wandre) Pioli was a quirky builder of guitars and basses in the '60's in Italy and made beautiful guitars with more often than not crazy designs. For instance: he used aluminium from the shipping industry (sailboats) for the neck and bridge of this bass to solve the common problem of those days of warping necks.
The neck is attached to a rosewood body with a very strong Davoli pick-up. The white plastic, covering the neck, has some marks/dings due to age and playing. Nothing that affects playability in any way. Electronics work perfectly. The rubber on the pick-up screws and around the tune-knobs unit was totally worn out and is replaced. Using the same materials that were on it. The bass is in excellent playing condition and is to be considered a unique work of art. It was last used on the recording of the song 'Vliegveld', on the record 'Even weg' by legendary artist Boudewijn de Groot and The Dutch Eagles. A link to youtube is in this listing.

I tried to portray the condition of this bass as good as possible. Feel free to ask any questions.
