About this listing
Sabian 19" AAX X-Plosion Fast Crash
The Sabian 19" AAX X-Plosion Fast Crash responds with immediate articulation and snappy decay, making it exceptionally responsive to lighter touch dynamics. This extra-thin cymbal cuts through dense mixes with precision, delivering the aggressive accents and quick sustain that define the X-Plosion line. Built for drummers who prioritize cutting definition and fast response over wash and spread, this crash executes tight, punchy articulations across all strike zones.
Sound Profile & Tone
The AAX series design produces bright, crisp, clear and cutting responses that sit prominently in a drum kit mix. The X-Plosion variant emphasizes explosive attack and fast decay characteristics, allowing each strike to register distinctly without lingering bloom—ideal for rock, metal, and progressive genres where definition matters.
Construction & Materials
Dual-lathing throughout the cymbal surface creates the controlled brightness and focused attack signature to this model. The extra-thin weight specification enables the rapid response and minimal sustain that define fast crash behavior.
