The Gold Tone M-Bass is a great addition to any bass player's arsenal. With its compact body, comfy 23" scale and unique Aquila strings, the M-Bass delivers a superb take on an upright acoustic bass, delivering all the tone without the size!
Whether you play in an acoustic set up, perform in a regular jam night, need a travel instrument or just need those much loved acoustic bass tones (for stage of studio), the Gold Tone M-Bass is able to fill an abundance of requirements.Â
Able to produce low level bass tones acoustically, the M-Bass comes into its own once it's plugged in. Fitted with an active transducer pickup that works in conjunction with the side fitted preamp section (with an active EQ section), you get quick and easy access to amplified bass tones. The preamp also hosts a handy tuner, allowing to you stay in tune at all times!
Gold Tone have fitted the M-Bass with a set of specially designed high-tension Aquila polymer strings. Easy on the fingers, with a pleasing amount of tension, these are the one of the key features that give the instrument its wonderful warm bass tones and impressive low end.
As for construction, the M-Bass is built with a Naytoh body, with the top featuring an ergonomic ergo-glide arm rest contour. The body is attached to a Naytoh neck that is topped with a Walnut fingerboard set with 20 frets across the 23" scale.Â
The bass comes complete with a padded gig bag.
