This is an exceptionally well-preserved example of the highly regarded American Vintage Reissue series, complete with its original brown G&G hardshell case and an impressive collection of original accessories and documentation.The American Vintage '62 Jaguar was Fender's faithful recreation of the original 1962 model, featuring traditional construction, a nitrocellulose lacquer finish, vintage-style hardware and the distinctive electronics that made the Jaguar one of Fender's most recognizable offset guitars.Unlike many modern Jaguar models, this reissue retains the traditional 7.25-inch fingerboard radius, vintage-style frets, floating bridge, tremolo locking mechanism and the classic Jaguar string mute. It also features the original-style dual-circuit electronics, offering an impressive range of tones.The short 24-inch scale makes the guitar particularly comfortable to play, while its two American Vintage Jaguar single-coil pickups deliver the bright, articulate and slightly percussive character associated with vintage Jaguars.
