The Denon POA-1500, released in Japan in 1983 during the “Golden Age” of Japanese high-fidelity audio equipment, is a high-fidelity stereo power amplifier (150 W per channel at 8 ohms) of excellent quality. As expected from Denon, the POA-1500 is a fantastically well-built amplifier, using high-grade internal components and a high-quality circuit design, with a number of features to reduce distortion and sonic coloration. The THD is <0.002%. It has large meters right on the front panel which are attractive and useful. Overall, the POA-1500 is a wonderfully built and designed amp, with exceptional sound.

This particular unit is in very good condition, with light natural signs of aging, including a few scratches and spots (please check photos). Furthermore, it has been thoroughly tested and checked by our professional in-house technician, confirming its flawless working quality. Denon Japanese-made amps are known for their robust construction and use of the highest quality parts, so it’s likely this unit will see many more years of use.
