Junost-21 is a portable polyphonic keyboard electric musical instrument with the possibility of hanging over the performer's shoulder.

The timbre of the sound can be changed at the request of the performer and depending on the nature of the musical work by using the control knobs or by selecting one of the twelve programmed timbres with a digital indication of the selected timbre.
Junost- 21 allows you to quickly (during execution) to change the character of the sound with effects: chorus, unison, transposing with a smooth and speed adjustment; the frequency and timbre vibrato continuously adjustable frequency, depth and time delay; adjustable, fixed and dynamic change of tone; the attack and decay of the volume of the pressed key; attack, decay and level of the filter envelope control the cutoff frequency of the filter from the keyboard.
The body and side walls of the Junost-21 are made of aluminum alloy, the control panels are made of impact-resistant polystyrene.
The power supply unit is designed as a separate unit.
For hanging on the shoulder of the performer Yunost-21, there is a removable belt made of vinyl leather.
The socket for connecting a power source with a voltage of +/- 10V and the socket for connecting the cable from the amplifier device are located on the right side wall of the Junost-21 case.
