Nicely broken in but much loved and cared for speaker, in immaculate condition. This is one of the best speakers made by WGS in my opinion, after having tried and played several of their British series speakers.

This is an analog to a Cel G12H Greenback as opposed to the WGS Reaper which is a lower watt rated speaker and closer in spirit to a Cel G12M Greenback.

The WGS are fairly focused speakers in the mid-range, so they will cut very nicely through band mix at volume. They also open up nicely in the lower range once broken in. When you buy it new it HAS to get broken in before it starts sounding the way it should-like any other speaker. This one is already broken in for you.

These speakers come alive when you run 30-50 watts through them and are pushing some air.

WGS supplied foam guard applied to the edges of the basket. WGS include this for extra cushion/protection when installing their speakers in a rear-loaded cab.
