About this listing
Long-term store display item, special price! Jay Rocket Audio Designs, a high-end effects pedal brand from California, USA, has introduced El Hombre, an overdrive pedal that can be used for a wide range of genres. The El Ombre was developed with the aim of creating an overdrive sound with the superior guitar tone heard in the early 1970s work of Billy Gibbons, guitarist for the Texas band ZZ Top. The ZZZ has only three controls (volume, gain, and bite), and the driving style can be changed significantly just by adjusting the bite control, which adjusts the tone. The El Ombre is equipped with an incredible balance. El Ombre is an incredibly well-balanced overdrive that inspires creativity in playing all styles of music and offers a wide variety of sound-making possibilities with simple controls. It has the same sturdy metal enclosure as the existing Tour series and is very compact in size. Input and output terminals are concentrated on the rear panel, creating no extra space when effects are used side-by-side. Power can be supplied by a 9V battery or a power supply (sold separately). When the effects are off, the signal is output without passing through unnecessary circuits.
